What's going on in SERVICE between Brown Academy and us?

The after-school program is for students from Brown Academy. Forty to sixty children, aged 9 to 12, come at the church where adults check them in and help stow backpacks and coats.

People from the congregation ------------------

serve snacks, teach guitar, lead drama classes, direct arts and crafts, play math games with the kids,

read to them, answer questions, give and get hugs, and escort them to the bathroom.

Valuable support came from ---------------------

Lea Ann and Diane, the Principal and Assistant Principal, came with the children to help keep things running smoothly. Paul had laid the groundwork with the Principal for this exciting program. He and Christine made name tags and worked out group assignments for everyone. Doug set up the rooms and did everything else needed on the spur of the moment. Clark Williams and Rick Auten took pictures, which you can see above and below.
