Together, this intergenerational group explores the Bible to inform and practice intentional discipleship.

Koinonia Class Where: Koinonia Classroom, Downstairs
Taught By Various Members Time: 9:30AM—10:30AM

A diverse group of people from various faith backgrounds, who are open to
exploring the Christian faith and developing their understanding of what it means to be a committed and serving Christian.
The study is from a variety of sources, quarterly, books from religious
authors, and discussion of the material.

Mission:

PAWS stands for Postsecondary Awareness With Success

We are a program with a mission to mentor children to achieve their dreams by being better students, friends, and citizens so that they can successfully graduate from any postsecondary institution to lead the future of our communities, country, and world.


Program Goals:

  • Successful mentor/mentee matching
  • Effective monitoring of mentor/mentee relationship
  • Decrease in juvenile delinquency
  • Increase postsecondary awareness

Turning The Pages Together: Grief Group for Widows Raising Children @ Faith Collective Room@First Christian Church

A new support community formed for women widowed during the active parenting stages of life.

Twice monthly peer discussion will be guided by reading selections, beginning with the book “Option B”, by Sheryl Sandberg and Adam Grant.
