Youth Ministries
Overview
Our youth group gathers on Sunday afternoons from 1:00–2:30 PM, offering a different rhythm from the already loud and fast-paced world our teens navigate all week. Our gatherings lean toward reflection, conversation, and authentic connection.

Goal
We intentionally create space for teens who may feel overwhelmed by constant noise or pressure. Fidget tools and flexible seating are prominent, and we work to meet neurodiverse needs whenever possible so that every student can participate in ways that feel comfortable and supportive.

A typical Sunday includes:
- Time to check in about the week
- Journaling and guided reflection
- Prayer stations or contemplative practices
- Honest conversation about faith, identity, relationships, and real-life questions
- Occasional service projects or creative activities

In short, the youth group here offers space to breathe, connect, and be real together.
Meet
Outside of Sunday gatherings, we also share meals, participate in service projects, attend seasonal weekend retreats and summer church camp, and take part in fun outings throughout the year. Teens are regularly invited to help lead in worship and encouraged to participate fully in the life of the congregation.

Your First Sunday
If your teen is visiting for the first time, we encourage families to arrive a few minutes early so we can help them get oriented and connected. Our youth room is located on the lower level of the building and is accessible, with no stairs required to enter the space. We meet students in the church lobby before heading to the youth room together, so if you’re new to the building, simply come to the lobby right off the parking lot entrance and we’ll make sure you get where you need to go.

We’ll ask you to complete a brief Youth Safety & Care Form so we can best support your student. This includes:
- Pronouns and preferred name
- Allergies or medical needs, including emotional or sensory considerations
- Emergency contact information
- Who may or may not pick up your teen
We know walking into a new group—especially as a teenager—can feel intimidating. Our background-checked adult leaders and students work intentionally to welcome newcomers with warmth, humor, and genuine curiosity. No one is pressured to talk more than they want. We believe that listening is participation too. We’d love to welcome your teen(s) into a community where they can show up honestly, ask real questions, and know they don’t have to figure out faith—or life—alone.
